The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has predicted rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind across the country in the next 24 hours starting from 9am today.

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely at most places in Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions, and at many places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions, the Met office said in a bulletin. Moderately heavy to very heavy falls may occur in Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions.

Day and night temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged.

On Thursday, the highest temperature was 34.6°C in Sayedpur, Rangpur division, while today’s lowest was 22.8°C in Barishal. 

In Dhaka, sunset will be at 6:37pm and sunrise at 5:31am tomorrow.
