Bangladesh Navy has seized a vessel carrying 125 people, including women and children, while patrolling on the deep sea. 

The boat was attempting to illegally travel to Indonesia.

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate confirmed the matter through a press release on Tuesday (April 8). 

The Navy’s ship "BNS Durjoy" intercepted the vessel as part of its regular patrol.

The authorities successfully rescued the passengers and are investigating the matter.
