The Central Intelligence Cell (CIC) has confiscated a hidden bank locker belonging to former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at a Pubali Bank branch in the capital’s Motijheel area.

CIC sources said one key to the locker is held by Hasina, while the other remains with the bank authorities.

Acting on intelligence about the existence of the locker, CIC officials conducted a raid at the bank on Wednesday morning.

A senior CIC official said the locker would be unlocked in line with Bangladesh Bank guidelines, following due legal procedures.
