Senior Joint Secretary General of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, today said that cohorts of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina are working within the administration to undermine the upcoming national election.

“Sheikh Hasina has fled, but her cronies remain in various administrative positions, aiming to sabotage the Interim Government and the election,” Rizvi said while handing over grants to student Nabil and his team for scientific research in College Para, Brahmanbaria.

He also said that the interim government, led by Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus, is prepared to conduct the election in a free, fair, and neutral manner. Rizvi warned BNP leaders and activists to stay vigilant, asserting that the allies of Sheikh Hasina will face the same fate as the Prime Minister.

Brahmanbaria BNP President Engineer Khalid Hossain Mahbub Shyamol and district Secretary General Sirajul Islam were present at the event.
