BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has issued a statement condemning the recent Israeli attack in the Qatari capital last Tuesday.

Expressing solidarity, Tarique Rahman said that, “We express our unwavering solidarity with the people of Qatar and its Emir Sheikh Tamim Al Thani. We call on international stakeholders to take urgent action against military strikes and ensure accountability for violations of international norms and principles.”

He also said that there is a need for an urgent ceasefire, the release of hostages, and a unified stance for humanity.
