Police have arrested 1,692 individuals on various charges from across the country in the past 24 hours.

According to a statement issued by Police Headquarters on Friday, 1,083 of the detainees were wanted in previous cases and warrants, while 609 others were held on different criminal charges.

During the drives, law enforcers also seized a revolver, a gun, four long guns, and several sharp weapons.
