Chief Adviser (CA) Professor Muhammad Yunus on Tuesday (August 5) paid a visit to the under-construction July Uprising Memorial Museum at Gonobhaban.
According to CA’s Press Wing, Dr Yunus inspected the progress of the ongoing construction work and exchanged views with the engineers, architects, and workers involved in the project.
He also instructed the concerned authorities to complete the work as soon as possible.
The museum is being constructed to preserve the historical context, struggle, martyrs, and ultimate victory of the 2024 July Uprising, and will serve as an official archive of the people's movement.
During the visit, Liberation War Affairs Adviser Faruk-e-Azam, Public Works Secretary Adilur Rahman Khan, Cultural Affairs Adviser Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, and other members of the museum implementation committee were also present.
