Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus will hold “bilateral talks” with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi tomorrow (April 4) in Bangkok on the sidelines of BIMSTEC Summit.
CA’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam confirmed the matter to the media.
The meeting is scheduled from 12:10 pm to 12:30 pm (local time).
Prof Yunus will also hold discussions with Bhutanese PM Dasho Tshering Tobgay, Thai PM Paetongtarn Shinawatra, and Myanmar PM Min Aung Hlaing.
Besides, he will deliver a speech at the summit, where Bangladesh will assume the BIMSTEC chairmanship.
BIMSTEC Secretary General Indra Mani Pandey is set to meet the Chief Adviser, while Thai ministers Varawut Silpa-archa and Jiraporn Sindhuprai have already called on him today.
Prof Yunus arrived in Bangkok on Thursday for the 6th BIMSTEC Summit.
