A mild to moderate heat wave is currently affecting Dhaka, Tangail, Faridpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Sirajganj, Dinajpur, Nilphamari, Rangamati, Feni, Laxmipur, Jashore, and Chuadanga, with the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicting its continuation.
In a press release today, the BMD said that day and night temperatures would remain nearly unchanged across the country.
While most areas will experience dry weather with partly cloudy skies, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions may see rain or thundershowers with gusty winds.
On Thursday, the highest temperature was recorded at 38.2°C in Bagabari, Rajshahi, while the lowest was 17.8°C in Dimla, Rangpur.
In Dhaka, sunset is expected at 6:16 PM today, with sunrise at 5:47 AM tomorrow.
