A new book titled 'July Martibhumi Othaba Mrittu' (July Motherland or Death), written by Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan, the advisor to the Interim Government, was unveiled today at the Poet Sufia Kamal Auditorium of the Bangladesh National Museum.
The unveiling ceremony was attended by several distinguished guests, including Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Advisor Asif Nazrul, Information and Broadcasting Advisor Mahfuz Alam, National Citizens Party Convener Nahid Islam, and Joint Member Secretary Rifat Rashid.
In his speech, Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan shared that the book was written concisely due to time constraints, expressing his intention to expand on the details in future editions.
He called upon the protesters to document their personal stories, urging them to contribute to a complete history of the July movement within the next two to three years.
Advisor Asif Nazrul highlighted the book's brevity as a limitation and suggested more elaborate character development.
He also urged publishers to collect the stories of every injured and martyred participant, as each has a unique and valuable story to tell.
