Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus is set to deliver a national address on Tuesday night (5 August) to mark the anniversary of the July mass uprising, according to an official announcement.

The Prime Minister’s Press Wing confirmed the development in a statement issued earlier in the day.

The address will be broadcast simultaneously at 8:20 pm on Bangladesh Television (BTV), BTV News, and Bangladesh Betar.

The nation is observing the first anniversary of the July uprising day today (Aug 5) with due solemnity and reflection.
