Ex-BCL leader Ajoy Kar Khokon arrested in Dhaka

Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s Detective Branch (DB) has arrested Awami League leader and former general secretary of the banned Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) Ajoy Kar Khokon from the capital's Gulshan area early today.

Deputy Commissioner (Media) of DMP, Muhammad Talebur Rahman, confirmed the arrest on Wednesday (September 24).

He said Khokon was detained in the capital’s Gulshan area, and legal proceedings are now underway.
