Banglanews journo Mushfiq Sourov's father passes away

Mohammad Habibur Rahman, father of Banglanews24.com’s Barishal-based staff correspondent Mushfiq Sourov, has died at the age of 75.

He passed away in the early hours of Sunday (September 21) at his residence in Barishal city after a prolonged battle with age-related ailments. 

According to family sources, Habibur Rahman began experiencing severe respiratory distress shortly after 2am and succumbed within a couple of hours. 

A retired government officer, Rahman is survived by his wife, one son, one daughter, and a wide circle of relatives, friends, and well-wishers.

He will be laid to rest at the family graveyard in Barishal, following the Janaza prayer.
