Iran has launched a fresh wave of ballistic missile attacks targeting major Israeli cities, including Tel Aviv and Haifa, following Israel’s provocative aggression on Sunday night.
In this incident at least eight people were killed and dozens wounded, according to Iranian and regional media report.
Amid global tensions Iran Embassy in Dhaka has issued an official statement on Monday (June16).
According to statement the Islamic Republic of Iran has strongly condemned what it described as the blatant aggression by the Zionist Israeli regime on its territory, which resulted in the martyrdom of several top military commanders, renowned scientists, and innocent women and children.
In the statement, Iran said the attack is a clear violation of Article 2(4) of the United Nations Charter and a direct military aggression against the country's national sovereignty.
Iran also said it reserves the legitimate right to respond firmly, as recognised under Article 51 of the UN Charter.
The statement called on the international community—especially the United Nations, Islamic countries, and members of the Non-Aligned Movement—to react swiftly and effectively to this act of aggression, which poses a serious threat to international peace and security.
Iran warned that the Zionist regime must bear full responsibility for the dangerous consequences of this aggression.
