The main congregation of Eid-ul-Fitr prayers was held at the National Eidgah Maidan on Monday morning, under the management of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC). 

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus led the prayers at the congregation, which began at 8:30 am. 

The National Eidgah Maidan, prepared to accommodate around 35,000 worshippers, saw participation from members of the Advisory Council, diplomats, and people from various classes and professions, creating a diverse and vibrant gathering.

Worshippers started arriving at the National Eidgah Maidan early in the morning, filling the grounds with an atmosphere of devotion and celebration. The entire venue was placed under tight security to ensure the safety and comfort of those attending. 

Before leading the prayers, Professor Muhammad Yunus addressed the crowd, extending heartfelt Eid greetings to the people of the country as well as those living abroad. In his speech, the Chief Advisor wished everyone a joyous Eid and expressed his commitment to fostering unity and building a stronger nation.

Following his address, prayers were offered for the peace, prosperity, and well-being of the country and its people. 

Earlier in the morning, Islamic sermons were delivered at the National Eidgah, adding to the spiritual ambiance of the occasion.

The congregation at the National Eidgah Maidan, a key event in the celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr, symbolized the unity and shared joy of the Muslim community.
