Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus offered the prayers of holy Eid-ul-Fitr at the Jatiya Eidgah ground today (March 31).

The main Eid jamaat (congregation) was held at the National Eidgah Maidan at 8:30 am.

Earlier, the Chief Adviser was welcomed by high-ranking government officials as he entered the grounds. The Power and Energy Advisor was present there with him at that time.

Arrangements were made for 35,000 people to offer prayers at the National Eidgah Maidan at the same time. 

Along with the Chief Adviser, high-ranking government officials and officials also offered prayers in this congregation.

After the prayers, Professor Muhammad Yunus gave a speech before the prayer, wishing everyone Eid greetings. At this time, the Chief Advisor wished Eid Mubarak to all the countrymen, including those living abroad, and expressed his determination to build a united nation.

After his speech, a prayer was offered, wishing peace, prosperity and well-being of the country and the nation. Earlier, Islamic sermons were being held at the National Eidgah Maidan since early morning.

The Chief Advisor will exchange Eid greetings with people from different walks of life at his office in Tejgaon at 4 pm on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr.
