Singer Sabina Yasmin will be honored by the Ministry of Cultural Affairs at a ceremony held at 7 pm today at the Jatiya Nattyashala auditorium of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy.

The event will also feature a solo musical performance by the celebrated artist.

According to a press release from the Cultural Affairs Ministry, Cultural Affairs Adviser Mostofa Sarwar Farooki will deliver the welcome speech, while Planning Adviser Dr. Wahiduddin Mahmud will formally honor Sabina Yasmin.

The function will be attended by Cabinet Secretary Dr. Sheikh Abdur Rashid, Cultural Secretary M. Mafidur Rahman, and other dignitaries. Noted actor Afzal Hossain will moderate the event.
