The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds across the country in the next 24 hours starting from 9:00am today.

According to a weather bulletin issued this morning, rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at most places in Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions, and at many places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, and Dhaka divisions.

The bulletin also warned of moderately heavy to heavy rainfall at isolated places in Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions.

Day and night temperatures across the country may drop slightly, it added.

The highest temperature recorded on Saturday was 37.2°C in Dimla, Rangpur division, while the lowest temperature today was 24.5°C in Tangail.

In Dhaka, the sun will set at 6:44pm today and rise at 5:26am tomorrow, the bulletin said.
