Government and private offices, along with banks, financial institutions, and courts, reopened on Sunday after a nine-day Eid-ul-Fitr holiday.
Employees returned to work in a festive mood, exchanging Eid greetings with colleagues.
However, the capital remained relatively quiet, with fewer vehicles and people on the roads as many holidaymakers have yet to return.
Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated nationwide last Monday, marking the end of the holiday period that ran from March 28 to April 5.
