Attorney General Md Asaduzzaman today said that no external conspiracy would prevent the trial of those responsible for crimes under the former regime.
Speaking at the first reunion of Jarip Biswas Degree College in Shailkupa, he alleged that ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was involved in anti-state activities from Delhi.
"No matter how much conspiracies they hatch from Delhi, we will ensure justice for the victims of fascism," he said, emphasizing that the nation remains steadfast in its commitment to holding the trials.
Asaduzzaman also claimed that Hasina and her relatives fled the country before the regime's collapse, leaving Awami League leaders in peril.
Calling for a social movement against corruption, he vowed that the trials would proceed at any cost.
Jarip Biswas Degree College former student Mahidul Islam presided over the event while Islamic University (IU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Nakib Muhammad Nasrullah were present at the function, among others.
