The Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) will organize a seminar on the importance of fitness at Manohar High School in Rangpur on Thursday (September 11).

Funded by the Commonwealth Games Federation under its Game Changers Grant Programme, the seminar will emphasize the vital role of both mental and physical health in leading a balanced and successful life, said a BOA press release.

It will also highlight ways to improve students’ academic performance and personal well-being. At the end of the seminar, students will take part in various traditional folk games.

Commissioner of Rangpur Division Md Shahidul Islam NDC will attend the programme as chief guest, while BOA Director General Brigadier General (retd.) ABM Shefaul Kabir will also be present.
