With fresh ambitions and new challenges ahead, Bangladesh’s Under-19 cricket team has left for England to contest a five-match One-Day International series. 

The squad departed on Saturday night (August 31).

Led by captain Azizul Hakim Tamim, the young Tigers will begin their campaign on September 5. The remaining four matches are scheduled for September 7, 10, 12 and 14.

The team has already showcased its promise on tours of Zimbabwe and South Africa earlier this year. Now, the players are eager to test themselves in English conditions as they continue preparations for future global competitions.
