Cristiano Ronaldo's eldest son, Cristiano Ronaldo Junior, took a significant step in his football journey on Tuesday, making his debut for Portugal’s U15 team in a 4-1 victory against Japan.

With Portugal already leading 3-0, courtesy of a hat trick from Braga’s Rafael Cabral, Ronaldo Junior was introduced in the 54th minute, marking his first appearance in international youth football.

The debut earned praise from his father, Cristiano Ronaldo, who expressed his pride on social media: "Congratulations on your Portugal debut, son. Very proud of you."

At 14 years old, Ronaldo Junior plays as a forward for Al Nassr’s academy, following in the footsteps of his legendary father.

Tuesday’s match was the opening fixture of Portugal’s campaign in the Vlatko Markovic international tournament, held in Croatia.

The squad is set to face Greece on Wednesday, followed by a clash against England on Friday. The final opponent, scheduled for Sunday, remains to be determined.
