Bangladesh Women’s Cricket Team has qualified for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 — edging past West Indies by a razor-thin net run rate margin of just 0.013.

Despite losing their final group match to Pakistan by seven wickets, the Tigresses held on to second place in the standings. 

West Indies needed to chase 167 in 10.3 overs against Thailand to qualify but fell short by just two deliveries.

Both teams finished with six points, but Bangladesh’s net run rate of 0.639 narrowly beat West Indies’ 0.626, securing the final qualifying spot.
