Arsenal delivered a dominant performance in Eindhoven, thrashing PSV 7-1 to all but secure a spot in the Champions League quarter-finals.

The hosts nearly struck first when Ismael Saibari rattled the crossbar early on, but the Gunners quickly took control. Jurrien Timber opened the scoring in the 18th minute, and just three minutes later, Ethan Nwaneri powered home a second after a smart cutback from Myles Lewis-Skelly.

Lewis-Skelly, already on a booking, escaped further punishment for a foul on Richard Ledezma before being substituted for Riccardo Calafiori before halftime.

Arsenal extended their lead after a defensive lapse allowed Mikel Merino to pounce, though Noa Lang pulled one back for PSV from the penalty spot following a foul by Thomas Partey.

The second half saw Arsenal continue their relentless attack. Martin Ødegaard struck from close range after a rebound, before Trossard and Calafiori combined for a clever chipped finish to make it 5-1. Ødegaard then added his second with a brilliant solo goal, and Calafiori capped off the rout with a late strike, securing Arsenal’s biggest away win in Champions League history.

With a trip to Madrid looming, the Gunners are in pole position to face either Real Madrid or Atletico in the next round.
