DHAKA: Dhaka Dynamites batsmen have scored 159-run losing nine wickets from their 20-over quota against Rajshahi Kings in the final of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL)-2016 at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur of Dhaka Friday.

Evin Lewis, Kumar Sangakkara, DJ Bravo, Shakib Al Hasan and Sunzamul Islam scored 45, 36, 13, 12 and 12 runs respectively helping the team to set the target.

Farhad Reza picked up three Dynamites’ wickets while Kesrik Williams, Mehedi Hasan Miraz, Afif Hossain and Samit Patel took one wicket each.

Earlier, Rajshahi Kings captain Darren Sammy won the toss and invited the Dynamites to bat first in the match that began at 5:45 pm.

If Dhaka win, it will be their 3rd trophy in the franchise-based cricket while Rajshahi will taste the trophy for the first time.
