A five-member delegation from the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), led by Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, is set to attend the July Declaration event taking place today at Manik Mia Avenue in Dhaka.

The delegation also includes senior BNP leaders and Standing Committee members Mirza Abbas, Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan, Nazrul Islam Khan, and Salahuddin Ahmed.

The party formally confirmed its participation through a statement issued by Salahuddin Ahmed on behalf of the BNP’s Standing Committee.

The decision followed a meeting of the Standing Committee on Monday evening at the BNP chairperson’s office in Gulshan. The meeting, held between 8:30 pm and 10:30 pm, was chaired virtually by BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman.
