11 more AL men held in Dhaka

The Detective Branch (DB) of police has arrested 11 more leaders and activists of the fallen Awami League (AL) and its affiliated organizations, including former ward councillor Sultana Ahmed Lipi, from various parts of Dhaka in the past 24 hours.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Talebur Rahman confirmed the arrests.

Earlier on Saturday, police detained 21 AL leaders and activists for their suspected involvement in acts of sabotage.
