The National Citizen Party (NCP) will officially launch its youth wing, ‘Jatiya Jubo Shakti’, on May 16 in Dhaka, aiming to provide an alternative to traditional political youth wings often linked with violence and extortion.
At a press conference held at Rupayan Tower, NCP Chief Coordinator Nasiruddin Patwary today said the new platform will focus on youth issues like unemployment, economic exclusion, and lack of policy access.
The launch event will be held at Abrar Fahad Avenue in Gulistan, and Tarikul Islam, NCP Joint Chief Coordinator, is overseeing the wing’s formation.
The committee will include women and religious minorities, party leaders confirmed.
Patwary said that ‘Jatiya Jubo Shakti’ aims to become a "milestone in rebuilding Bangladesh" by empowering youth and avoiding traditional political "games."
