Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Shafiqur Rahman and Nayeb-e-Ameer Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher have called on BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia at her residence in London.

They have visited the former prime minister recently at the residence of her son Tarique Rahman, also the BNP acting chairman, BNP chairperson’s former press secretary and journalist Maruf Kamal Khan wrote on his Facebook account on Tuesday (April 15) night.

Khaleda Zia, the former prime minister, has been in London since 8 January for advanced medical treatment. Tarique Rahman, also the acting BNP chairman, was present during the meeting.

Maruf stated that the Jamaat leaders visited Khaleda Zia after concluding their Europe tour and later returned to Bangladesh. However, the topics discussed in the meeting remain undisclosed.
