BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir today termed Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus’s China visit a “big success” for the government.
Speaking at an Eid gathering in Thakurgaon, he said China’s shift in approach, now engaging with all political parties.
“China is a major economic power and has significant investments in Bangladesh. Their commitment to further investment in production and development is a positive sign,” he said.
On elections, he said that the next general polls would take place this year, as indicated by the chief adviser.
