A Dhaka court today placed three individuals, including Jubo Mohila League central leader Laboni, on a two-day remand each in a case filed under the Anti-Terrorism Act at Mohammadpur Police Station.

The other two remanded accused are Sirajul and Raju. 

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Jewel Rana passed the order after police presented the trio before the court and requested a five-day remand for each.

The three were arrested by locals on the evening of March 21, when 25-30 leaders and activists of the Awami League staged a sudden procession in Dhanmandi-27. 

The group handed the suspects over to the police.
