BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has returned home after receiving treatment at a hospital in the capital.

BNP Media Wing member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the matter on Thursday (March 6). 

He said Mirza Fakhrul returned home from the hospital in the afternoon and is now in good health.

Last Sunday, Mirza Fakhrul was admitted to a private hospital in Dhaka after suddenly falling ill.

Meanwhile, BNP is hosting an iftar event on Thursday at a five-star hotel in Dhaka for diplomats. Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir may attend the event.
