Several political leaders gathered at Manik Mia Avenue in Dhaka on Friday for the official launch of the new political party, Jatiya Nagorik Party. 

The event saw the presence of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar, Nagorik Oikya President Mahmudur Rahman Manna, Ganosamhati Andolon Chief Coordinator Zonayed Saki, Labour Party Chairman Dr. Mostafizur Rahman Iran, Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) General Secretary Shahid Uddin Mahmood Swapan, and Revolutionary Workers Party leader Akbar Khan.

BNP representatives Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi and Joint Secretary General Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie also attended, according to party sources.

The Jatiya Nagorik Party, which officially launched in the afternoon, has already finalized some key leadership positions. The rally, expected to draw significant public participation, is viewed as the rise of a youth-driven political platform.

Security has been heightened in and around the venue, with attendees required to pass through metal detectors and archways before entering.
