DHAKA: Pope Francis called on European countries to help immigrants fleeing from the Middle East and Africa not to allow the Mediterranean Sea to become a huge cemetery.

Channel 10, reports, The Jerusalem Post says.

In a speech before the European Parliament in Strasbourg, Francis added that the aging Europe, as he put it, must overcome the economic crisis and the rise of nationalism, and accept a leadership role in the world.
