Pakistan and Bangladesh have reiterated their unwavering support for the Palestinian cause during a meeting between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Bangladesh’s Adviser for Foreign Affairs Md. Touhid Hossain.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the International Conference on the Two-State Solution at the UN headquarters in New York.
Both leaders voiced deep concern over the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the ongoing Israeli aggression, expressing hope for meaningful outcomes from the conference.
On the bilateral front, the two sides agreed to enhance political, economic, and cultural cooperation, improve connectivity, and promote people-to-people exchanges. They also reviewed existing ties and committed to undertaking high-level visits in the near future.
