In Yemen, officials report that U.S. airstrikes near the capital, Sanaa, resulted in six fatalities and left 20 others injured. This comes as the Houthi rebel group claims responsibility for missile attacks targeting Israel’s main airport.
Gaza’s Health Ministry has confirmed that at least 50,944 Palestinians have been killed and 116,156 injured since the start of Israel’s military campaign.
The Government Media Office has revised the death toll to over 61,700, accounting for thousands believed to be buried beneath the rubble.
In Israel, 1,139 people were killed and more than 200 taken hostage during the Hamas-led attacks on October 7, 2023.
