The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed 13 new Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours, while no virus-related deaths were recorded on Tuesday (June 10) afternoon.

According to DGHS with the new cases, the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the country has reached 2,051,760.

During the 24-hour period, two more patients recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 2,019,378.

A total of 101 samples were tested in the last 24 hours, with a daily positivity rate of 13.87 percent. So far, 15,726,379 samples have been tested in the country.

The overall positivity rate now stands at 13.05 percent. The recovery rate is 98.42 percent, and the death rate remains at 1.44 percent, the DGHS said.
