The results of the re-evaluation of answer scripts for this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations have been published, with the Dhaka Education Board reporting significant changes.
A total of 293 students, previously marked as having failed, have now been declared as having passed. Additionally, 286 students have newly achieved the highest grade, GPA-5, including three who moved directly from fail status to GPA-5.
The revised results were released at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, 10 August, according to the board’s Controller of Examinations, Professor SM Kamal Uddin Haider. Results are available on the Dhaka Education Board’s website (www.dhakaeducationboard.gov.bd).
The originally published results on 10 July showed a nationwide pass rate of 68.45%, with 139,032 students securing GPA-5. In the SSC stream alone, the pass rate stood at 68.04%, with 125,018 GPA-5 achievers.
In the Dakhil examinations, the pass rate was 68.09% with 9,066 GPA-5s, while technical education recorded a pass rate of 73.63% and 4,948 GPA-5 recipients.
