The price of 22-carat gold will decrease by Tk1,574 per bhori from Friday due to a decline in local market rates, the Bangladesh Jeweller's Association (BAJUS) announced on Thursday.
The price cut comes after back-to-back hikes on Wednesday and Thursday. With the new adjustment, 22-carat gold will now cost Tk1,71,601 per bhori, while 21-carat and 18-carat gold will be priced at Tk1,63,798 and Tk1,40,400 respectively. Traditional gold will be sold at Tk1,16,127 per bhori.
